1. Precision Thermal Management: We integrated a custom-fabricated cooling pipe network directly onto the motor surface. This allowed the subsea electric motor to maintain optimal operating temperatures by utilizing the surrounding aquatic environment for heat exchange, ensuring endurance during long-range missions.
2. Direct DC Integration: Understanding the constraints of an autonomous vessel, we bypassed traditional power structures. We configured the inverter to draw power directly from the vessel’s DC battery source, maximizing energy efficiency and reducing weight—critical factors for unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs).
