TECO Electric & Machinery has delivered more than 700 MW of data center MEP and ICT engineering projects across Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Our scope of work covers medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, ELV systems, HVAC, and communications systems. Successful references include data centers for the world’s top three cloud service providers, with the largest single project reaching 98 MW, and capabilities to undertake 13,824C fiber optic system engineering. With extensive international project experience, TECO is well-versed in U.S. and European design standards and L1–L5 testing requirements, supported by in-house BIM and P6 expert teams, firmly rooted in the Taiwan and Southeast Asia markets.
In 2020, TECO launched its in house developed T Power and T Power Plus series products, and successfully entered Taiwan’s electric bus and commercial truck powertrain market by 2022 , becoming the first electric bus powertrain supplier in Taiwan to obtain DMIT certification. Through the T Power Plus series, TECO introduced modularization for electric bus powertrain, meeting power requirements for different bus sizes. The series has been adopted by most electric bus manufacturers in Taiwan and also by manufacturers in India, with localized production and delivery supported by TEMICO, TECO’s plant in India.
The T Power and T Power Plus series have been successfully applied to electric buses, commercial vehicles, retrofitted vehicles, and marine markets. These systems significantly improve energy efficiency, reduce noise, and lower maintenance costs. Leveraging a global supply chain and competitive advantages, TECO provides customized turn-key solutions, injecting new momentum into the green mobility industry.
In 2025, TECO incorporated hairpin motor technology, producing high-efficiency electric vehicle motors with advanced design and manufacturing processes that deliver high speed, high voltage, and high power density. The third-generation hairpin motor technology introduces an innovative compact winding topology with variable multi-parallel branches, enabling flexible production for different performance requirements and simplified winding configurations. This ensures adaptability to a wide power range without adjusting production equipment or core tooling. Hairpin motor technology is widely applied in automotive powertrain worldwide and in heavy-duty commercial drone powertrain.
