T Power Plus Electric Marine Propulsion Motors Pave the Way for a Carbon-Free Shipping Future
In line with the government’s 2050 net-zero transition initiative promoting electrification and decarbonization of transportation, TECO is actively advancing marine electrification. In 2025, the world’s first net-zero vessel, Porrima P111, was launched, equipped with two T Power Plus 250 motors as its propulsion system.
TECO Group subsidiaries also have outstanding achievements in electric marine propulsion applications, such as Qingdao Haixi Electric Co., Ltd.’s electric drive motors and Thailand’s first all-electric passenger fleet, featuring a 200-passenger electric catamaran. Leveraging its R&D design teams and group resources, TECO provides highly customized electric marine propulsion solutions for vessels under 500 tons.
